Clara is a wide leg pants pattern with pleats in the front, an elastic waist and pockets in the side seam. Optionally, you can sew ties to the side seam.
These are comfy no-nonsense pants with lots of style for all kinds of occasions.
Clara also has no less than four different lengths:
– floor-length pants
– culotte (7/8 pants)
– knee-length pants (bermuda)
– shorts

This is a 2.0 version of the 2019 Clara pattern. Now with more sizes, more lengths, an improved fit and updated instructions.

In these pictures, Clara is combined with the Rafi T-shirt pattern.

Fabric choice: 

Choose (linen-)viscose, gabardine, tencel, silk or blouse fabric for comfortable and flowing pants. Or go for a thicker fabric such as baby rib, corduroy or jeans. For breezy spring pants, you might as well use cotton, of course. But stretchy fabrics are also extremely suitable for this pattern. Nicky velours, velvet, jersey, french terry or stretch sponge are ideal for making your Clara wonderfully comfy and cool.
